Well, we just got back from our annual family Bear Lake trip. Every July we fly to Salt Lake and then drive up to the lake to spend some time in the sun with our extended family (my Mom's side). Our family keeps growing and there were about 60 people there this year. We left San Diego at 4 in the morning (YIKES) but it was worth it because it gave us an extra day on the water. We were really tired and any hope of catching up on our sleep the next few nights were crushed when Gavin started cutting FOUR teeth. The nights were rough, but the days were a blast.
We usually rough it more and get about 10 smaller cabins (yes, that's roughing it for me) but this year we tried out the "Papa Bear" cabin. The name is fitting. It was HUGE with 18 bedrooms, gourmet kitchen, the whole nine yards. We liked it so much we already reserved it for next year.
Chris and I had a great time wakeboarding and Collin tried out the tube. He liked it as long as we went really slow. He actually tumbled off once and swore that he would never, ever go on it again, but after seeing his cousins having fun, he quickly changed his mind. We all had a great time and we are already looking forward to next year!
